You must work in a licensed daycare or be able to undertake a placement for two sessions a month in a licensed daycare (we can arrange this for you). Students must be able to read, write and speak fluently in English.

The course is free. There is a small registration fee of around 180 ILS after the programme begins, usually paid by your workplace.

Choose a group:

• Friday Group – One Friday a month for 12 months, 8am – 2pm
• Monday Group – Two Mondays a month for 12 months, 5:30 – 8:30pm

In addition to your Core teaching sessions, you must also complete the essential learning element. Choose a route:

• Route A – Face to Face: An extra Friday a month, from 8am to 2pm
• Route B – Blended Learning: Online, in your own time, completing Moodle courses

Monthly tutorials on Monday evenings where you can get help, support and guidance. These are optional and take place on days the core teaching sessions are not happening.

During the course, you keep a reflective diary of how you apply your learning in practice. There is also an internal exam or assignment for each of the 7 units. Assignments include completing a portfolio of activities, child observations and making a children’s book!
